Unhappy warning lamp defective

it started last night and its driving me crazy. i checked every light there is from license plate bulbs to side markers to turning signal to fog light and high and low beam to dash board to dome lights and doors light to glove compartment and nada all working. i turn my car on! lights on and everything is fine. while driving the indicator comes up then i checked every light and everything is ok. what could it be? something is loose? i never seen a prob like this one b4. thank u .

brake lights? or try taking them all out even though they are working and sand the contacts a little and put them back in, this happend to my rear lights a few years back.

Hah, I have this problem too.

Usual suspects are license plate bulbs or brake lights with poor contact. Like the poster above said, sand the contacts a bit. Some have reported success by not screwing the bulbs all the way in for the brakes -- leave a quarter turn or half turn of thread unthreaded and supposedly this allows for better contact.

Also, interior bulbs will never give you an error so that narrows your search considerably.

I have aftermarket city lights that error on me when it's cold out. As long as it is above 50F they are fine and no errors. Drives me nuts in the winter!
