Im sure you looked into Powerchip vs SpeedtunningUSA. Half the price a few HP difference, what sold you?

Powerchip will dyno and tune my car until they get the most power out of it. that freakin awesome. If you ever move back to the US and ship your car ya better hope it ain't Cal.

I decided not to go with the MAFless but will have them try and remove the adaptive throttle logic. They said doing the MAFless takes a long time and allot of work. Sounds like the need the car for a few days to do so and they want to charge extra for it.

I have tried the MAF-less usually called AlphaN on BMWs setup before on my car when it was N/A, it simple never gets dialed in right, and the main reason that our MAF as IAT sensor which is directly related to the LOAD calculation tables which affect spark advance and fueling ... so one day the car is running great the other day it stutters on its face... good thing you backed out of it. hope tune works out fine
BTW the pre-2000 models (ME2.0) rarely can get flashed without opening up the ECU while the post-2000 with ME2.8 are flashed thru OBDII...



they will have to keep my car for a few days, and they will pay any rent a car costs. I want to rent a Black Series SL 65
