I am looking for a rear diffuser for my 2001 CLK55 AMG. I am going to make my rear into a quad exhaust system. I see they are selling some on these websites:

It looks like VIS Racing Sports makes this product. There selling it for $500. I seen someone on this form did a excellent job. It looks like on his pictures you need to have a CLK55 AMG rear bumper only, which I have already. The diffuser will fit perfect in place on that bumper. I was wondering does anyone know if I need to do any cutting on the bumper or does the rear diffuser fit right in the clk55 W208 amg bumper?

Does anyone have this diffuser cheaper than $500? It looks like the cheapest one I seen was about $400.

Any help would be great! I did my front bumper on my vehicle already. I posted my new pics for my front bumper on my 2001 clk55 AMG W208.

youve probably seen my car's pictures, they are not the vis one, they are all cstom made, the first one was a complete CL63 custom rear bumper molded into a clk w208 bumper which i no longer have and the latest one that you have probably seen is the AMG bumper but fully customised with a CLK63 Black Series diffuser. the VIS one looks very cheap but it would be your cheapest solution.

Thanks for the info! If that was your white clk W208 vehicle with that clk63 blk series diffuser, great job! I am actually buying a quad system from my friend on here, for my car. I believe this part is yours? Please see the picture below. I am going to install this for my 2001 CLK55 AMG W208 car couple weeks from now.

mine is silver, the white one that you saw is a friend of mine's and thats my old bumper on his car, as for the exhaust yes thats my old exhaust also.

I dont think I seem the silver one yet but I did see the white one. Your friend did an amazing job on his car! I will post some pictures when I put your quad exhaust system on my clk55 w208 car. Do you
have a clk series w208 still?

Hey VIPclk320,

I am going to install those exhaust that you custom made. I had a couple questions.
1. How many miles did you have on your car before you sold it? The person you sold it to never put it on his car at all.
2. Are they really loud or sound regular? My CLK55 AMG exhaust isn't that loud and I like it like that. Only time there loud if I put the gas on it full throttle! lol
Those exhaust system look very nice. I can't wait to put it on my car.

it's not super loud but its loud, it is a free flow exhaust. as for the millage i have no idea.

thanks for the info. Glad it's not to loud lol Free flow exhaust I heard are very nice. I think top of my head they increase power, more efficiency, weigh less then a typical exhaust system, increase fuel economy, and improve acceleration.
