basic A/C questions - getting hot in here

Needless to stay, my A/C is still not working. I have some basic questions.

For the AC system where is the interior temp sensor? Is it in the regulator in the passenger side foot well?

Why do I get a LO reading for codes 1,3,4, and 5? No numbers, just LO.

Also, why can I not pull error codes for the AC system (set temp to 72F both L and R, L HI R LO, press EC and REST for 5+ secs)? It just reverts to giving me AC codes 1 through 7 read-outs

Is my AC jacked? I'd laugh if it wasn't so damned frustrating not to be able to get error codes...

MarcusF,

Thank you for the post. Where is it located in a CLK convertible? Do you know?
