CLK430 won't start- Key to run and fan comes on...
When he tries to start it the engine doesn't crank over at all. It doesn't even try. No clicks or anything. To me it seems like something to do with anti-theft or the key not communicating.
Battery voltage is good and cables are in good condition.
When you turn the key to start it the cooling fan comes on immediately. (I know more about Fords and on a Ford this would mean that the key is not matching up with the anti-theft or the pcm is bad).
Anyone seen this issue before?
Thanks for any input.
