DIY: Reset A/B Service Notificaitons

OK...

So a little birdy told me how to finally get rid of the annoying Service A/B notifications off of the dash display. Every time that message popped up on me, the thought that always skated across my was, "NO! I'm not paying the dealer $1200+ to look over my car and change the oil!"

Anyway...so here's what you do. Very simple.

- Turn the car on to the 2nd key position. In other words turn it all the way ON, but do not start it.

- Then scroll through and find the A/B Service notification. Hold the "R" or reset button on the dash. After a few seconds a message will display on screen asking you if you would like to reset the service notification. Once this happens let off of the "R" button.

- Press and hold the "R" button one more time until the reset is complete.

That's it!

I don't know about your car but the procedure for mine could be found in the owner's manual.

When was the last time you did the service? Just do the same as before, and it should reset itself
