Tires for CLK
Need imput from experienced CLKers about 235/265 tires on 18"wheels. Currently have 55 with worn out 225/255 Dunlop SP9000s on 18" Lorinser LM5s and was wondering if advantageous from handling and aesthetics over the 225/255s. Have there been any problems with electronics with the wider tires as rolling diameter 2-3% greater than stock? Is there any problems with tracking?

Question about springs
Mach,
I ordered new Eibach springs for my clk. Is there anything i need to know before installing. I want an aggressive look not a lowrider look. Any input would be great.

My car is lowered with Koni shocks and H&R springs & I had 265 tires with Carlsson 2/5 on my 430 before. The rear didnt rub when I had original PZeros but when I changed to PZero Rosso, it rubbed a little bit. There're two reasons for the rubbing 1) my rear wheels are 10x18 2) the design of the PZero Rosso is more square in the corner.
I've also heard S-03 is the best tire in the market now. IMO Toyo T1-S is not a bad choice either, I favor it more than PZeros. Just to give you another alternative. The design of the tire is very important!

S03's
Put on new S03's about two weeks ago, nice tires except I've noticed they like to flat spot if the car sits for a day or two without being driven. I asked the tech guy at the tirerack about this and he said he has heard this complaint about the S03'S before and to put miles on them,they're better but still flat spot more than my Pilots did.
