I don't know what the pricing is for 1 peices, but my 2 peices (same sizes as you want) cost more than twice your estimate... without tires.

The average price i seen here in SoCal is around $2,500 with Toyo tires, (mono 5, 1 pc, silver, 18x8.5 and 18x9.5), trying to see if I can find better deals around 2100-2200.

I recall from other thread you had the tire rubbing problem and the uneven wear of the front tires after the mono 5 multi piece and H&R ..... can you decribe that in detail ? I am thinking about just putting on the 18's w/o lowering just to save me from all those troubles.... do you have any pics with the 18's on before the lowering ??

18's w/o lowering seems to look fine when the car is moving, but look floated when sitting still ??

You have to make sure the wheels have the right offset for yr car. I've a set of Carlsson 2/5s on my previous CLK430 with 8.5x18 front and 10x18 rear. I've Koni shocks and H&R springs as well. It worked fine without any rubbing problem.

HOWEVER, tires are very important too. Different brands have different tire designs, it didnt rub on my car when I have 265/35/18 PZero original on. But it rubbed when I switched to 265/35/18 PZero Rosso. It is because the Rosso has a more sqaure corner.

S-03, T1-S and AVS all have more rounded corner. They should work fine!

Good luck!

There is a 1" difference in width between the two wheels and you will obviously get fatter tires as well. Thats why you'll have better grip from the rear tires thus improving cornering & stability.
If the staggered is available for your car, I see no reason why you have to use same size all around.

Yes, if you put 18" wheels, you must lower it. When I was selling my car a few months ago, I uninstalled all the aftermarket stuff and put back all the stock items, boy... it looked awful!!! And I had to drive it for a week!
