Wiper blade reccomedation? Also, parking lights.....
What is a good wiper blade replacement? And whats the proper size? I cant find this info in my manuals.
Also, when the parking lights go out, what are replacement lamps for it and where can I get them. I've had the lamps go out on me a few times and I hate having to bring it to the dealer to get it replaced.
Thanks
J

Because, like me, he's probably had to deal with horrible dealers who sit on your car for days before doing the slightest bit of work, or who just treat you like ***** altogether. Some of the service writers I've dealt with at MB are among the stupidest people alive.
(that's Beverly Hills, Ltd. for anyone in LA)
Thankfully I've found a better dealership now, and I can finally get my driver's side auto-up feature fixed.

Yeah, it's too bad that not all of the dealers realize how a proper business is ran. If any of you have any questions regarding something being specifically covered under warranty, call MB directly and ask them. Even if it's not directly covered, a good service advisor will try to have it covered on a one-time basis for you (after all, they get paid on comission regardless whether you or MB pays).

Its not that I dislike my dealer. I jsut hate having to drive 30 minutes and wait in line for service to just a light bulb replaced. I'd rather just purchase a few bulbs and replace them myself when they go out. Also the service dept is only open while I'm at work, and to book a saturday appointment, i'd have to wait a few weeks, but once I'm there........there very courteous.

Wiper blades
If you're mechanically inclined: I bought the Trico 47-600 blade refills (ran about $6 at the local parts store)
- I pulled apart the OEM MB blade (I liked the retainer clip assembly better - it fits better than the aftermarket stuff)
and then replaced the rubber insert with the new one, then put the retaining clip and metal ribs back together.
Result: no more smeary Bosch wiper blade problem. Mine got lousy after 2 months old - so I wanted to avoid repeating the problem with another Bosch wiper blade.
It was so bad that the rain sensor would see clear glass and it kept operating the wiper trying to clear the glass -and I couldn't see the road ahead - it was really bad on rainy nights
