Sorry to hear that.. Have you checked eBay for the new window you need?
Or maybe see if you can find a same model CLK breaking?

Aside from that, didn't your alarm go off? Any cameras or methods of catching the people that did this?

Hope you get it fixed soon.

Had the same experience with my Nissan Patrol a year ago here in PI (they took my bag with: MACBOOK, VAIO, PSP and Mobile Phone) and my Caravan in SFO Chinatown 3 years back (they took my daughter's diaper bag and missed the DSLR's and MACBOOK!)

The feeling of privacy being violated is disheartening Not to mention the cost of replacing the window is more painful!!! Where in SFO?

Lessons learned: DON'T LEAVE "ANYTHING" IN THE CAR IN PLAIN EYESIGHT VIEW! EMPHASIS ON "ANYTHING". Put it in the trunk. Avoid tempting people.

exact same thing happened to my mother's ML two days before christmas, some A...ole brok her window and took her purse, cash and everything else.
