Osram Diadem Indicator Bulbs??

Hello,
I recently purchased some Osram Diadem indicator bulbs. They have a bluish tint to the bulb and flash amber. I am hoping to put them in my front light to eliminate the orange color that is being reflected from the orange bulb. The site did not list wattage so I just ordered them becuase they are German made and should 'fit most cars'. I am at work and don't have my manual with me. These bulbs say they are 21 watts. The website did not list wattage. Are these the correct wattage for the turn signals that are housed in the light with the Xenon's?? They are supposed to last twice as long as any of the painted bulbs and were the same price. Here is a link to where I ordered them.

Osram Diadem

I should be installing these this evening if they are correct. I am going to try and borrow my friends camera so that I can do some before and after picture. I just received my Polarg J11 LED driving lights today also and will do some comparision and before and after pictures as well.

Here are some before and after pics of the Osram Diadem indicator bulbs. I did have to grind one of the little knobs off of the bulb in order to get it to fit. They are 21 watts and the manual says that the front uses a 26.5 watt bulb so I did not think this would be a problem. I am going to remove these and put back in the stock bulbs because although it looks good from a distance up close you can still see some orange and looking the correct way will give you a blue reflection. I don't like the blue reflection because it gives the appearance that you might have a fake xenon bulb installed making the housing look bluish.

Although they look good in the pictures they do not look quite as good in person. Here is a picture of the bluish tint you can see from one angle.

You can see some orange and blue in this picture. The yellowish dot is actually a flood light that was on at the house.

You definately got rid of the orange, but you can see the blueish tint. You should try what I did and spraypaint the bulbs with silver high heat spray paint. Couldn't be easier or cheaper. I did my fronts, side mirrors, and rears.

I did the same thing as CLK_Ivan. I went to the auto parts store, bought a can of silver paint and put a thin strip of tape (about 1/4") around the circumference of the bulb and just sprayed the heck out of them. Once installed it looks great and doesn't give you that ugly blue reflection during the day and at night (or when flashing), there's plenty of orange all the way around the bulb to shine through brightly.

I will get some silver high heat spray paint and try that on the regular bulbs. Do they sell it at Lowes or do I need to do to the autoparts store? I'm glad those other bulbs were not that expensive. Plus, I really don't like the idea of grinding off a knob on the bulb even if it is a lower wattage bulb than is called for.
Thanks

I use Philips Silvervisions for my blinkers. They're not that expensive and is a direct replacement w/o painting or grinding off a nib.

I used the same paint for all the bulbs. They are still plenty bright, you only need to make a few passes with the spraypaint to cover the orange.

Come on over, I'm always there on Thursdays.

Why would I want my signals to blink hyper white? Turn signals are supposed to be yellow. The reason that I removed the blue leds is because I don't want to look
