Volume control out of control!
99 CLK 320 with stock radio that I would like to keep but it's starting to act up. Volume control is very sensate, sometimes it does nothing, sometimes it just spins. Changing back and forth to Am/Fm will help for a few moments? Is there a good place to ship this for repair or should I try to find a local shop?

Had a similar issue with my W210 head unit (which I believe is identical). Some success, but not a complete fix with contact cleaner. See https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-randomly.html for more details.
