I live in Scotland and have known a bout a very special private number plate that you see around the streets. It is owned by the council and used to be on a rare vintage Rolls Royce, but recently has been transfered to a newer car. I happened to be along side the car this afternoon so took a pic on my phone. The most surprising factor is the vehicle it went on...
First heres probably the worlds most sort after number plate:
GO
Secondly the car it is on is a VW Phaeton !! of all cars please >??
For those outside of the UK private number plates are somewhat more pricy then in some states in the US, I know this as I have friends there and you can pick them up easily. In the UK you have to buy the plate, to give you an idea of what this is worth, for 'GS1' is £265K, '6B' is £160K, F1 is £440K and I would think that 'G0' is half a million pounds ++.
Now you know why I think a VW Phaeton is a little below par !!

Here's an interesting vanity plate on a beamer.
I would bet this is a pricey little thing.
Some fender bender that would be.
Let me see your papers, please.

Looks like there may be more pricey plates then lol, but for having 2 characters and spelling a word I still think 'GO' is hard to beat, as in the UK you have to have 1 letter and 1 number
