Ignition key
My ignition key sometimes won't disarm the imobleliser. Do I have to buy new key and switch been quoted £600.

sounds like the switch if you changed the battery.. Ive had luck with other electrical things just disconnecting the main battery and allowing everything to reset.. you may get lucky

Disconnected battery now windows won't go up unless you keep tapping the buttons they go down ok? Still the same problem with key.

Malcom, do a search for re-syncing your windows, roof,seats and ABS after you disconnect battery.

+1 what the last guy said. I forget the procedure..I think hold the buttons in the down position and they reset the '1 touch" . sorry to hear about ur key.. sounds like ur out of luck on that one
