Aluminum Dash Rings
The mods just don't stop! Stopped by Mark Cummins' house to say hi to Steve and get my dash rings. Mark, thanks so much for your help and for the In-N-Out Burger!
As you can see the rings are very subtle. It's a very inexpensive mod, but it looks great!

nice touch Josh... never ending mods... wow...
since you would have to open up the dash cluster to install those rings, wouldn't that void the warranty for the cluster?

With this car being my daily driver and 98k miles on it, I don't have a warranty to worry about anymore. You don't really have to take apart any of the functional parts to do the install though, all you do is take the clear hood off, you don't touch the gauges at all.

yeah, i've taken one apart before... but, in order to get INTO the cluster, you need to cut the sticker/seal, which basically, to a Mfr, they assume you were tampering with it, which will void the warranty...

Hey Ted - those are the original gauges that come on the 2000+ CLK's. :0)
.................Thanks for the response. It must be so for 2000+ 430/55. I have a 2000 CLK320 and the guage face is blk. I have been looking for white face guages. CEC had them for 1999 and 1998 CLK which look different. I know yours is not completely white but I migt just get them for my car if I don't have to buy the entire cluster.
