2001 CLK320
i just did it last week. On the far end of the bottom seat, maybe 2 inches from the end, there is a wire ring in the shape of a circle under the seat about 2 inches in. Take a screw driver, slide it under the seat and try to catch that ring to push it back just alittle enough to release the corner of the seat and pop it up. Once u get the bottom seat out u can see the bolts for the back rest. This is on a 2001 320 but im guessing its the same on urs

Hey guys, my bad I've been hitting the books for the past couple of days and really appreciate the advice. Like I said I got a fat move planned and don't want to risk my seats either : P....are they easy to take out of the car--being a coupe and all LOL

Hahaha my bad I when i Asked the second time I meant not unclipping them (thank you guys once again) I meant physically since we have coupes it seems removing the whole back seat unit would be very chunky lol. Can anyone PLEASE refer me to a pic of this or something because I tried looking and have no idea what kind of clip or what corner is being mentioned....?

Just as mentioned up top ^ remove the bottom cushions first by physically pushing in the cushion on the side corners from the front then lift it up I believe theres a video on Youtube about this
