Bought used radio for clk 430 on ebay, forgot about code, if no code,,, how can i bypass this, if so.

As far as I know, you must have the code.

I've seen some stock systems with the code written on the side by someone at the dealership so maybe your's could be written somewhere on it?? Worth a shot, otherwise dealership and maybe they can help you out

Well i rushed to buy this radio, and forgot about the code. In turning it on the screen says WAIT. In reading my manual it says after to many tries it will say wait for about 10 minutes, then reset. No reset, so im stuck. Im returning it to get $ back, luckily it was no big loss. Halleluya there is a code on the bottom, now to get it outof wait mode and go fro there, thaks guys.

Well after some investigating I had to leave the radio on for at least an hour before it reset, because someone tried a bad code too many times,(not me.) And low and behold the code was writtrn on the case, there is a spot there for it. Radio is on and working well. My cassette was not working on my old unit, and i use it to listen to Pandora thru my Smart phone. Until I upgrade, possible to a 9" tablet to have onboard internet and all the rest of that stuff.. Well guys thanks, theres always something new to learn here.
