I want the center piece of my Carlsson rims finished in black.....
dont know what is involved, probably wouldnt be willing to spend the money, probably wont even look into it, but i really wish the center piece of my carlsson 2/5 was finished in black, with just the polished lip and silver bolts holding the two peices of the rim together, keeping the silver carlsson centercap....
sorry its late, and my mind was wandering, anybody else think this would look pretty cool on my white 430? i think i would get tired of this though.....
but, just to throw it out there more out of curiosity than any desire to do it, how much does something like that cost?

If you have the rims disassembled and powdercoated you're probably looking at around $500. I was thinking of having my wheels powdercoated and only leaving the lip machined, but once I got my kit put on, I decided to keep them silver.

I think the black wheel with the polished lip would be cool as hell, but I don't know about leaving the center cap silver. Would probably look better black.

Please excuse my horrible 2 minute photoshop, but here is how I saw it......I kept the center cap black because I don't think it would look right on a white car with a black wheel and chrome/polished lip.
