Concave Wheels on a 208
I've been searching around for concave wheels and have been unable to find any pics of some on a 208. So I turn to you gurus. Anyone on here have some on their car?

I am sure someone does. If not just find a nice low offset and go for it. They will look great on our car. If I ever get a 208 55 amg you better believe there will be a one piece concave race wheel on there. Depending with how aggressive you are trying to go there are plenty of options. If it were up to me, I would run 18x9 front with around a 15 offset. and an 18x10 around 10-15 offset. that would leave you very aggressive and probly require some fender work, which most are not willing to do. But in the end you will have one bad *** CLK.

I do. Springs have settled in more since these pics, but still need to go 1/2" lower in the front and 1" lower in the back with a 10mm spacer.
Offsets mentioned above are crazy low and will require fender pulling, which isn't cheap if done right. I recommend 32 ET up front and 25 ET in the back if you're going 8.5/9.5 for the most flush look without doing body work.

I have the offsets I listed above and it only requires fender rolling, not pulling. But that is why I said it will require fender modification and most people are not willing to do that. I only say go low like that because It makes your 208 stand out. There are plenty of 208s with nice wheels on them. But they all have high offsets and look terrible when you really look at them. just my 2 cents. take it with a grain of salt.

Also twinsin. If you run a 10mm spacer in the rear you do realize your offset will then be 15et. if you currently have 25 as you are recommending to the gentleman. I am trying to save him the hassle of running spacers and just buy the correct offset wheel to begin with so you don't have to buy spacers....

As for standing out, that's not entirely what I am concerned with. Sure it's nice, but around here (Kansas) even a stock 208 CLK stands out. My goal is to modify it in a way where the untrained eye would just think it's a really good looking Mercedes. So basically OEM style updates. That's why I am curious to see how concave looks on our cars. I'd rather not have the "boy-racer" look, I'll leave that for M3/3-series owners
I really kind of like these from sonictuning since they look decent and are within my price range. Any first hand experience or reviews on them?
Once I finish this grad school stuff and have a job I'll be able to justify big spending. Til then less than $900 is what I am lookin for

Oh, but my rears are currently at 35 so I'd be going down to a 25. And with what OP's budget is he's not going to be able to get custom offsets, so I'm sure he'll have to resort to spacers anyways.

Eh...they look good but they're gonna be boat anchors. If you get up to $1500 you can get wheels (OZ, Forgestar) that are functional as well (i.e. tons of weight savings). If you're that strapped for cash, skip those wheels and get an OEM set from a different model

My rears on my car are 9.5" and I am running a stretched 235/35/18. With only fender rolling on all 4 corners. I was running 245/40/18 but was rubbing over every little bump. Original offset on the rears were 32et and I have a 15mm spacer so mine are around 17et. With no rubbing what so ever. I was just saying if I was going to buy wheels thats the offset and width I would go. I agree with twinsin tho on the oem used wheels. Much less weight and an all around better wheel. There is a shop by my house selling a set of the 5 spoke SL AMG wheels super clean and great wheel for 1000. its a great deal for the set.
