Letter of resignation
Dear fellow MB members
It is with great regret and disappointement to announce my resignation from this forum. It has been a great year for me and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my new friends for their help and guidance during my benz owning times.
I enjoyed the sarcastic, sceptical and offensive threads but never took any to heart cause at the end of the day, we all had one thing in common!!
I have moved on now, and sold my precious CLK. Nevertheless, new challenges await me. Until then, take care and good luck to everyone!
BENZ will always be in my heart !

You know, I almost posted a "Where in the world is Ahmed" thread last week, seriously. I noticed you hadn't been on the boards lately so I figure'd something was up. Thanks for your help with my earlier problems and for all the great posts you put up. One of the few knowledgable members that helped out a lot of us newbies to the benz world.
Good luck with the M5 (might I add a Holy Snap!). That car looks great and I like the color too.
The beemer forums will be lucky to have you join them.

not trying to be an ***, honestly this is just out of curiosity, but is that a real M5? because you had the CLK320 that looked EXACTLY like a 55, and i have a general idea how much an M5 would cost over in your neck of the woods, and it sure isnt cheap.

congrats...but
the m5 is fast no doubt, but between the custom oil fills, clutches every 15k miles, and its wonderful oil burning problem, you will see how much better a benz truly is.

They're not that expensive down in these parts of the woods, beemers depreciate like theres no tomorrow!
Yes, running costs are gonna be a killer! Oil burning is a must and new tires, headlights and tailights and interior trimmings have set me back a few bucks already!! Fortunately, previous owner just replaced clutches, brakes and gearbox control unit.
Mods already on their way, cant drive the car these days cause the ECU is down at DINAN'S being remapped! Air intake kit, flow meters, tower braces and springs are on their way!!
