whats my car worth??

I'm thinking of selling my 208 CLK320 Cab to get a 04 CLK coupe either 320 or 500. I just wanna gauge how much I can get for my car. I've been looking on sites like autotrader and I see them range from $40,000-$50,000

Here are the specs:
2001 CLK320 Cab
Obsidian Black on Black leather
18500 miles
no accidents
lowered with H&R but also have stock springs
Heated Memory seats
Xenon w/ washers
rain sensor wipers
tow alarm bypass
2 sets of tires (current tires have about 4000 miles on them)
will also come with Brabus bodykit (never got around to install it)
1st owner
Has remainder of factory warranty.
Car has been babied.

You'll probably also see that I have my 02 C320 for sale. I want to get a 209 coupe and then keep the Jag convertible. Of course if I can sell these two cars. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

oh no... not another person ditching the w208 posse

sad to see it go...

location makes a big difference... if you are here in so cal during spring/summer, that would probably fetch about mid to high 40s on a private sale.

heh, consider it a vacation. My problem is getting rid of the Jag.....Don't feel like losing all that money on that car, rather drive it. But if I could move the Jag, I would pick up a 02 CLK55 Cab Silver with 2 tone interior that I've had my eye on for awhile.......

you'll probably have a hard time selling it for $40K . In the bay area, CA, 320 cabriolets run around 35-38

2001 CLK320 Cabrio
A friend just sold her 2001 CLK320 cabriolet (everything same as yours except Firemist Red, no Brabus and not lowered) within 2 weeks in the Boston area for $47K.

Considering that the MSRP was just under $52K....it held it's value very nicely.....probably because cabriolets are limited production.....low mileage and warranty remaining.

Current Kelly blue book is 39k low 44,2k high 8.6% add for Miles
With the Used car markit SOFT The Current price should be at 39/40k

I Would return the car back to STOCK and sell the Xtra wheels/Tires and H/Rs seperate to return some of the Money lost

W208&203...it is becoming unclear what you need "help" with.

KKB suggests athat a 2001 cab would sell (non dealer) w/ your mileagre but w/o the factory options that you have (e.g. xenons, heated seats etc,) for $45K. A friend sold the same car as yours last month for $47K.

If you get $47K (as my friend did.)....you have done well (after 3 model years that would be only $5K less than you paid for it).

If you really would rather have a W209 coupe, you can put a stake in the ground at $47K (while convertibles hold their value like no other MB....however, don't feel you'll get much more).

This is your chance to be in the drivers seat....then you'll know.

P.S. I feel a stock car will sell better, so I would not mention the H&R springs and sell the Barbus kit seperately.

One more point.......your car is worth as much as a dealer sold certified Starmark .....because you still have 1 1/2 to 2 years and/or 30K+ miles of factory warranty remaining.

If there is still time or mileage left on the vehicle's original 4 year / 50,000 mile (whichever comes first), the remaining warranty remains in effect to term. Then the standard Starmark Limited Warranty provides coverage of only 12 months (up to 100,000 accured miles). Longer coverage is at additional cost.
