its an '02 CLK 320. just the basic stuff plus the rear shade i think. It was my aunts ride actually with 3,000 miles on the odo, then i asked if we could trade and she agreed! i feel its better built... more benz feeling than the c, not to downplay the c-class though... still love the c-class for all the nice features. the leather inserts just wear out fast. the sticker i guess was around 45-46 and considering my aunt... she paid sticker i guess!

oh yeah! she thought that my c320 was better because of the newer look interior and all those fancy a/c vents and touch turn signals and all those stuff. there was an opportunity and i grabbed it! took one night to think about it though.

what? you had to think about it???

just the monetary value behind the trade is enough to make me say yes... its like trading a honda accord for a c320 with no strings attached...

well, as long as everyone is happy... she gets the newer look, and you get the CLASSIC CLK Benz...

that's the root problem of it! i bought it, i fix it! oh well... that's life for some of us! modding is the next thing but maybe 17"amg's are all that im gonna go for. my dealership here makes so much fuss about mods hence my c320 wasnt modded and i bought LM5 replicas from bruce months ago!

Glad you switched to W208, those replica LM5s fit W208 as well, why don't you put them on? You will always want to go bigger so get 19s in the first place so you won't waste your time/money on the next set.

bruce!

i sold it like a few months ago at a very huge loss... never had the time to have it installed... then my C was acting kinda wierd sensors were tripping everywhere then the warranty issued popped in my SA's mind and adviced to not to go for it. anyway, im staying as close to OEM as possible that way there's gonna be a lot of leeway for arguments!

BTW, thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

don't let the SA or dealer intimidate you to the point where you are afraid to mod your own car... they can't void ur warranty due to 19" wheels... except for maybe parts of your suspension, which most of it isn't covered past 12,000 miles anyways...

sorry you had to cut such a loss on the 19s, but at least that is good news for my 17s... hehe damn, you must think i'm so selfish...

well when youre stuck in vegas on a hot summer day with a crappy vw beetle with one radiator/ac cooling fan not working and the ac not working as well. you are compelled to swipe the damn thing at the dealership!

Good luck on that! trust me its not fun driving to las vegas with a faulty ac caused by the 405 stop n go traffic during the heat record they had over there. the outside temp gauge was like 120 degrees. i felt like dying that day! well im betting MBs can survive the trip. oh yeah i saw a jag x-type and a range rover with smoke coming under their hoods while on the way.
