Been a little to long since my last wax, took the time to do it today. Anyone else find it very relaxing/therapeutic to wash and wax your Benz?
Said what the heck and waxed my wheels as well. Not exactly sure what to do about my calipers yet, think I'm just going to paint them red. I'm fine with the stock performance but the rust brown look is pretty yuk.
Anyway, thanks for looking.

I love doing a good clean up... but I hate the paint chip discovery as well. Most of the time I end up talking shop with a neighbor. Even had a couple MB owners stop to ask about products I was using. Zaino Wax and whatnot is quite the draw... Ever try to explain a claybar to a non believer... Geez

I have had painted calipers in the past before on my Mustang, I used the G2 paint (brush system) and did not remove the calipers. Came out great and had no issues with chipping, etc and still looked good years later when I sold the Stang. Although I used blk paint on my then blk car (chrome wheels) I am 90% sure I will use red paint on the Benz. Red being my favorite color and I love the way the red looks on other blue cars I have seen over the years.
Looking forward to seeing your pics when you get a chance to post them.

Carbon fiber wrap
First off....nice car man! I think you and I have pretty much the same car (at least based on your posted pics). Not sure if you have had the same issues, but my interior wood trim started to crack a bit. I used several different grits of sand paper, sanded it smooth and then covered in the textured 3D carbon fiber vinyl wrap. It came out great! I posted a pic, check it out.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
As for my wood trim, originally it was cracked up years ago but I replaced it all. It came with the dark birdseye wood but I never liked it even if it wasn't cracked. I replaced it with the burlwood (brown) and now it looks great and matches my ML interior. (Blk with brown wood trim)
Nice interior pic FYI.
