Yo Danny....question

Yo Danny, how do you like the sound of your Eisenmann Race Exhaust? Can you notice some or lots of a differenct compared to stock? Under normal driving is it loud, or just slightly deeper than stock? Also hows it sound when just standing still?

THe Eisenmann Race exhaust is awesome...

If you gas it hard, it is the sweetest sound.

At times, I wish it was louder, but, I think for the most part, that the sound is very suited for a benz.

At cruizin speeds, the throaty sound is noticeable, and if the cabin is real quite, that humming sound can get kind of annoying... but just turn up the stereo a little (not necessarily loud) and the sound of the exhaust will be muffled about 80%

I would highly recommend the Eisenmann Race Exhaust to you and anyone who wants a better sounding exhaust on their CLK...

What made you choose the race exhaust over the performance exhaust?

HMM... i guess i just wanted a louder exhaust than what he performance exhaust would have provided.

Besides, the race exhaust was suppose to be lighter and less restrictive.

This is the only part that worries me, but in the videos on the web site, the race exhuast sounds awsome. But I don't want to attract to much attention with a loud exhaust, so I think I'll go with the performance one. Thnaks for your input

Trust me when I say, the race exhaust isn't very loud from the outside... it is more subtle than 90% of ricer exhausts...

But if you want something even more subtle, then the performance exhaust should do the job.

I second that, I have the race exhaust as well, and boy do I love it! Mine is about a year and half old now, and it still looks and sounds great, nothing beats it. The sounds when idle are soooo sick and i love it when i punch it hard, because it just roars, its so noticable that i have an aftermarket exhaust. Best exhaust i ever bought, i would never consider another company but Eisenmann from now on when it comes to exhausts.

Danny, if you want it to be louder, remove the resonators like I did, its a lot louder, but not ridiuculously loud and annoying like some import exhausts.

Got mine from www.eisenhaus.com They hooked me up!!!

hey, we have a lot in common then...

we both have dark clks
we both have race eisemann exhaust
we both have 19" AMG CL wheels
we both have Lorinser DTM (mine is on the way)...
etc....

I considered gett the resonator removed, but, from what i heard, you lose a lot of low end torque, and since the heavy as$ wheels already slow down the car a little, I don't wanna lose anymore power

I think i'll like it, it sounds very good. But I'm thinking of getting the oval one, so I don't think your plan would work out :p

if I get those HRE wheels... my fiance will have my nuts... I'll have to lay low for a while, until all my spending is pushed to the back of her mind...

She already thinks I put my car as priority....
