Case cover cylinder ball joint....
Last thing to fix with my top -
The lower ball joint of said case cover cylinder is loose and causing it to not open completely, thus interfering with the top travel. Anyone know how I can get to the nut on the back side of this ball joint?

I think I know what you mean, there's a ball joint that mounts to the body of the car and lifts the rear deck?
Mine went loose and was catching the roof, its a captive nut wielded to the car body in a box section which must come away after time, there's no way we could see and believe me I tried stripping 1/2 the car apart to access it and get in there, we even tried welding the ball joint to the car but it just snapped,
In the end removed the trim and used a circle cutter made a hole about 3cm wide and managed to get a spanner in there and tightened it, been fine ever since
