CLK 55 intake on a CLK 430?

I heard from a Kleemann rep that I can fit a CLK 55 intake on my CLK 430 to raise about 10 hp or so... Can this be done? + are there any other (quick and easy) options to boost my engine (intake or other)?

Thank you.

The 55 intake is just about as inefficient as the 430 one so the only thing you'd probably gain would be the aesthetic benefit of the AMG logo. I'm currently working on a custom intake setup with Mark Cummins that should work a lot better than the stock box, and I'll keep everyone updated as this project comes along...

EDITED - I actually installed and dyno tested the 55 airbox and got about 10 rear wheel horsepower increase from the box alone. It is in fact far more efficient with a much larger intake plenum and vanes to smooth and direct the flow. Definitely worth the money,

Well I checked the website, and they only have applications for the CLK320, nothing has come out for the 430, evosport is planning on making a air intake for quite some time now, but nothing has come out since, Mach 430, when should these intakes be coming out?

You can get extra horsepower by getting the evosport pullies, i got them, and they gave me an easy 13HP increase for only 500 bucks. You can also try evosports headers made exclusively for the CLK430's which give you 13HP as well, but is around $1500 bucks, not sure on the price, you can ask Ben.

The only air intake for the CLK430 that is out, is the RBTech carbon fiber air intake from evosport, they are quite expensive, but some people have said it was a waste of money for like a 3 HP increase ( someone on the S-Class forum did the mod, and had a dyno done )

Thank you.
K&N High Performance Air Filters will do the trick much better.
