Overdue pics of my 19 CL Wheels

Gosh, its been so long since I posted a pic of my car with my new wheels... come to think of it, I barely took any pics of my car ever since the new wheels... Nothing really new outside of a cracked bumper...

But, in about a week or so, my Lorinser DTM kit should be all ready, so.... look forward to more pics then...

In the meantime, here are my 19" CL Wheels:

Don't rims that size mess up with acceleration, fuel economy, and the milage gauge? What springs you got in there?

Yeah, I was contemplating between getting my Lorinser DTM or getting Brembo Big Brake Kit....

But, since I already had someone order me the DTM Kit, I feel bad not getting it, so I will go that route...

I think, once my brakes wear out, I'll get the C32 AMG Brakes (although many discourage it on our cars)

Lets see, given the added weight of the wheels & tires, yes, it does reduce the acceleration a little, but in LA, I don't get much opportunity to go fast... But when you are on a roll, the acceleration is still very good, you only notice it from off-the-line

Fuel economy seems fairly uneffected for me... I'm still getting about 300 miles per tank...

Mileage will be off a little, but the only a fraction of a mile, nothing much

I'm running a full Brabus Sport suspension (shocks & springs) with 1 dot pads all around... this yields a total drop of exactly 2" at all 4 corners

That's what I thought might happened, so I think I'll keep my rims, and spend the $ on more performance parts. But I still love that look! Good job

How do you like the Brabus suspension? I'm debating between that and the cupkit for our next project CLK.

i think both setups are nice...

the Brabus setup is more for comfort & style, whereas the H&R CupKit is more of Performance & Style... although many people with the cup kit say the ride is very comfortable too

For a project CLK, it really depends on what you want... if you want the real slammed look, the cup kit is more flexible... it all depends on what you want out of it

DTm Kit

When and where do you plan to get you kit installed? You did get the full kit right, not just the front bumper?
