CLK Hood Emblem Question
Any of you CLK owners changed your hood emblem to the flush mount? Dad-in-law has a new CLK430 cabrio and wants to do this. Where can the kit be purchased? I saw one on the Beverly Hills Motoring website. Is it an easy procedure? If you have any pics of the finished install please post them. Thanks!

We carry the flat MB emblems to replace the upright star. They come with an installation kit which is easy enough to complete the entire project in under 10 minutes. Here is a picture of the emblem on my car. You can also see my pre-painted lenses which replaced the orange sidemarkers.

Never feel bad about not knowing something, that's what this board is for, to share information. I first came here last year with almost no knowledge of cars.... Things have changed a lot in a year!
We are the exclusive dealer of both pre-painted lenses and all MH-Dezent products. Here is an example of what the MH-Dezent DTM kit with the CL Hood and Grill looks like. I apologize for the poor picture quality, I will post them in red as soon as I can get it on my car!!!

Also thanks for the info. I just stumbled over this site on Saturday and Man, I got addicted. These forums are a wealth of knowledge. I'm glad I'm digesting a lot of this prior to the arrival of my order later this month. I really can wait to start the mods !!
