CLK at the track

Has anyone took their clk to the track? What times did you get?
Does anyone know what times a supercharged 430 should get at the track?

ran mine.

15.0 @ 91 mph with the 19's

but the track sucks, and we are like 2500 above sea level.

I did autocross events with my car before, but after I slammed my car there's no way I can take it to the track due to rubbing issues. Mach430's kleemann 43k has gone to the track several times, check evosport.com gallery.

how low is your car. Mines pretty low. How bad is the rubbing? You should still be able to do quarter mile.

The specs of CLK43K can be found on Kleemann's website, where they'll have all the specs. I have a 3" drop so I basicly will rub every turn and scrape every where I never thought about doing quarter miles in my car, maybe it's just me, going straight doesn't really requir any skills, especially in automatic cars. I have a drift car to play with, it's much more fun than driving the benz.

my clk320 ran 15.86 with a huge r/t of like 0.9 seconds. next run was 15.94 with r/t of about 0.8...not sure why tho. ran against a riced out subaru WRX first time (r/t of 0.4) and 5.0L older mustang (r/t of 0.5). they both beat me but not by very much - thought they were a lot faster than they ran, subaru beat me by like 0.09 subtracting r/t. interesting tho, the mustang took off before me but i got to 60 feet quicker than him - after that is when he started passing me.

i don't think my 430 could even do 15.0 flat at the track. When i floor it from a standstill, the car doesn't shift to 2nd gear until the rpms reach the redline, even when i manually shift it. And I have heavy *** 19" rims as well.....lol.... got smoked by a CL typeS the other day as well........

Possible, depends on the driver, manuel is not as easy to launch as our automatics.

I ran with my buddy's wrx a few times, always beating me, but always about 1 -1 1/2 car length....

I have 19" on with about 300 pounds of ICE. no dpare tire thou...
