Emblems now look like crap!

Reposting my question in a separate thread to try and get some member answers:

Anybody have this happen with their emblems? All six of the emblems (hood, trunk and wheels) now look like this, total crap. All have yellowed and crystalized. Tried emailing customer support but never got a reply back. The ad had stated that it wasn't like the crap you find on eBay, but check out the photo and tell me what you think. Why did they do this and is this in fact a common problem for those that have had them on their car a year or more?

Do you park your car outside/uncovered? Most of these "tuner"/aftermarket emblems are cheaply made and will quickly deteriorate in the sun.

Yes, this particular vehicle is driven daily. Guess you're right about these emblems being cheaply made. Got them from JBSpeed, and just wondered if this is a common problem for their emblems. They advertise them as the best quality, but looks like that is pretty subjective. Was hoping they would respond to my original email to them, explain to me what might have happened, and offer some sort of solution, but so far, have never heard back from them.

I'm not sure how long I've had them, but maybe JBSpeed keeps track of that. As far as customer support goes, right now I'm thinking there isn't any. No replies to date regarding this issue.

UPDATE:

Got an email back, but no real solution as of yet or explanation of why they all yellowed, crystalized and cracked.

Based on threads, it seems that a lot of people have bought these from JBSpeed. Have they held up? Same problem on your car? Similar crystallization but not as bad as these?

Got an email back from JBSpeed, which is where I bought these emblems. Based on the poor emblem quality and no customer support, beware to anyone who buys these emblems. They will look like crap and you'll be stuck having to replace them in the future.

Get the metal ones, not the cheap ones with clear epoxy over them.

If you like that design, then here is one:

Wow. That's pretty poor quality! Thanks for the heads up on them.

Then don't buy them from JBSpeed, because that's where these came from.
