Kleemann suspension and camber issues

I installed the Kleemann suspension and it performs great the only problem is when I got an alignment the fronts have negative camber. The rears are within factory specs. but the front left has -.2 camber and the right 1.7 camber.

I went to the MB parts dept. and asked for the camer correction kit. The rep. had no idea if what I was talking about so now I need to give him the exact part #.

can anybody provide me with the part # for the camber adjusting kit and also all the information I need to have the alignment issue corrected to factory specs.

Thanks guys

Lou

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
There is no "kit" per se...

but what you need are what are commonly called crash bolts. This would be what a collision repair shop might use to get the front end adjusted after a "big lick". If your parts guy is looking for them, I don't think he will find them on the w208 fiche. They have a W202 part number. I've got it somewhere from the ones I bought, if I find the reciept, I'll post the PN for you. Hope this helps.

I don't think so. The part # Brandon listed is for the front. I've looked for the rear kit, and they do have a "repair kit", although they have several different kits to choose from, and I don't know which one you need. I'll do some investigating for 'ya!

I would also need the rear bolts because although the rear did meet specs it just barely.

I love the suspension and if I can get average tire wear it would be icing on the cake

thanks for the info guys now this is for the 2002 clk 430....I hate to sound stupid but the parts guy looked at me like I had 3 heads.

I do know that they make them cause I asked a mechanic and he said it was a kit but didnt know the part #. Do you think I should just get this done at the dealer they quoted me $175 and that is if they didnt need parts....meaning after the kits Im looking at roughly $300 for an alignment.

I need this since I just but on new Michelin Pilot sport A/S

Thanks again

Lou

WOww.. they are kinda expensive. A total of around 600 or so just for the kits front and rear.
I fyou don't have the camber kit, you still can adjust the camber angle, can't you?

Thanks,

Solihin

here are the measurements for all of you that had the alignment done we can compare

as you can see my right side has more of a problem with camber than the left.

I think that with the camber correction kit that will adjust 0.5 will do the trick

fronts

Left / right

-1.6 / -2.0 = camber specified range -1.3..... -0.6

4.7 / 4.8 = caster specified range ????

0.22 / 0.18 = toe specified range 0.12...... 0.29

Total Fronts

0.4 = cross camber specified range -0.3.......0.3

-0.1 = cross caster specified range ????

0.40 = total toe specified range 0.23....0.57

Rear

Left / Right

-1.6 / -1.9 = camber specified range -1.9.....-0.9

0.25 / 0.23 = toe specified range 0.22.....0.34

Total rear

0.48 = total toe specified range 0.43....0.67

thrust angle 0.01 = specified range -0.25.....0.25
