Vibration question does anyone know?

I have 160K miles and the engine mounts I think need replacing, because when the weather is cold on start up the engine vibration is more noticeable. Once the car warms up the engine runs smooth with very little vibration at idle.

The other point I noticed is that when its cold and the engine is vibrating, if I go into Park the vibration goes away, its only when the gears are engaged in Drive that there is significant vibration.

Therefore would you think my gearbox mount needs replacing? ( I replaced it before about 6 years ago)

The idle speed is lower while in park, making the vibration more noticeable. The mounts are a normal wear item, so they will have to be replaced at some point.

Yep, have a look at the trans mount as well and replace if needed.

You may have read that I found the problem to be the engine mounts, replaced them and the car is like new!
