is what I SAID!!!!... when i came out of dinner and went to the parking lot to get my car. So it happens.... I went to go eat.. and was talking about car accidents (straight jinxed myself!) I come out and see from afar that this truck parked all up on my benz. I said.. WTF!?... i walk closer and the truck wasn't all up on my benz.. it was all up IN my benz!

It happens that there was a black cherokee that was waiting to get by on a one lane parking lot. The parking lot is a side by side parking lot where cars are diagonal. Kind of like this: / / /

Anyways... the cherokee gets upset cuz he has no patients and begins to honk and get crazy. He then put the car in reverse and slammed on the gas and went of control into the truck.. and of course the truck flies into my car. The cherokee takes off like a bat out of hell and the witnesses didn't even get a license plate. DOH! So we waited for the owner of the big chevy truck, but he doesn't come back, so i left a note and i went home. It may look like the Chevy will be paying for my damages if we cannot find the hit/run cherokee. If not, then i guess thats what insurance is for... DOH!

Rob, that totally sucks... I feel for you bro... If I came out and saw that, I'd do 2 things... cry... then go postal... Did you call the cops to take a report or take some pictures of the the scene?

Theifs did a nice thing to my car, pryed the door lock off on the driver door and got in. I have th replace the seal around the door lock/handle.

Never kenw benz was so easy to break into.

Yeah.. called the cops.. but they said.. if no one was hurt, there is no reason for them to come out. They basically told me to just call my insurance and get it dealt with and if my car is not drivable, to call a toll truck. So i left a note on the car and went to the police station to file a statement for a hit and run and they told me the same old thang.... oh wells :/

I'm already paranoid at parking my car anywhere. The more horror stories I hear like this the worse I get.

There mad easy to break into. U need a screwdriver, pry off the door lock cylinder by the handle push up and it rolls down the windows and unlocks. Dude it happened to mine so i know lol.

I thoguht i left my car open cuz they did such a good job breaking in to it. wen i got home i saw the lock pushed out. No damage visible to me, im not gonna bother fixing it, just gonna get a new rubber seal for around the lock

THey cant steal the car tho they can break in it easy thats it

i had someone try to break into my car also. These a-holes tried to pry the door handle off with a screwdriver.they bent in the metal of the door under it. mercedes wants 1100 to fix it 750 from an auto body shop. F-in aggravating!! I wish the retards would have broken a window instead. I have a thousand dollar deductible on my insurance. What a waste! I wish i could have caught the a-hole. I would have pryed his f-in teeth out.

Exactly what they did to me but mine was pretty much fixabl with a door handle seal. You can see its a little dented in in direct sunlight but no paint damage or holes are evident. All you really need is a screwdriver to get in its pretty sad.

i wasnt so lucky. i have a hole under the door handle and a dent about 4 inches wide

Maybe forget putting back on a lock. Those with significant damage... maybe you should just shave off the key hole. I've never used the key hole on my car. Just used my keyless entry.
