Actually, my ideal w209 redesign would have just been simply to make a Mini-CL... just like how the C is like a mini S-Class

then, I would have bought a w209 instead of the w208....

but, MB decided to design it after the C70/accord

I agree danny - the 209 should have had seperate headlights and CL style tailights and body lines - the current lines have way too much slope in the hood and trunk.

Stock W208=Nice
Stock W209=Femmine

W208 fixed up=very NICE
W209 fixed up=DAM NICE

I think in conclusion, keep the rear of the 208 and have the front of the 209. That is what i would like too have.
I have to agree pimped out W209s look better than W208s.

Nah man, after your Brabus is put on you wouldn't even wanna look at my car. If I had to choose between W208 and W209 right now I would take the W209. Post up some pix of your phat ride already !

why don't we just all agree to this:

people who has the W208 thinks W208 is better that's why they didn't trade it in for the new car.

people who has the W209 thinks W209 is better that's why they trade it in whatever they had for the new car.

thats why I said in the very beginning that anyone who comes to THIS forum will get a very very biased opinion...

HOWEVER, about 90% of the people I show a stock CLK430 to a stock CLK500, they still prefer the w208 CLK cause the w209 CLK's rear end is just a turn off...
