Need advice about these wheels

a friend of mine wants to sell me a set of these wheels

or these

anyways Im looking at the offset and it says the 19x 8.5 is 35 offset

and the rear is 19x9.5 but its a 40 offset..does that mean definetly need a spacer.

plus the tires are gonna be 235/35 and 265/30 rear

If my memory serves me right, I believe the first rim is the Axis Milano... they look just like Carlsson 2/5s but they have a HUGE LIP... I was going to get those wheels... but I got my CL wheels, so I decided to keep what I have until I get bored of it or whatever...

The Axis Milanos are great looking wheels, and they are very very very cheap in price... well, compared to the Carlsson wheels at least...

You'll need a 5mm spacer for the rear.... u'd be asking for trouble without a spacer

I had to use spacers on my Lorinser LM-1 19" rims when i had them on my car. Absolutely no problems. Lorinser just makes one "size" rim and uses their spacers to adapt to the different model mercedes..... Just my 2 cents.

I like my Milano's a lot. Great quality for the price. Here are some other pics. If you were in San Diego, I could've gotten you a good deal

mmgrad, I know, I know, gotta lower it, but it's the wife's car For some reason the pics make it look like it's sitting high. In person, sits real nice in the back with minimal gap and a couple of fingers in the front.

just cause it belongs to the wi-fee doesn't mean you can't lower it...

dude, you already put 19s on it, you might as well drop it a little... give it a sportier suspension... not necessary to slam it, just give it a sportier look...

that car begs to be lowered... DO IT... DO IT...

haha... there you go...

besides, if its a subtle drop, she might not even notice the change...

and don't worry about camber, if the drop is around 1", the camber effects aren't very bad...
