To tint or not to tint ??
I love the blue tint but I hate people staring at me all the time...it gets annoying
need privacy but on silver benz I dont want it to look ghetto with polished wheels and dark tints
help a brotha out
I have a pic with and without tints which looks best ??
here it is photoshopped with 35% but I want 20%

Believe me, it doesn't look ghetto with dark tint. Just make sure that you use the same tint all around, don't do light up front and dark in back. I have 8% all around.

woaah 8% is dark
I had 20% on my cl and I got tickets all the time...had 20% ATWA and 70% front windshield...Llumar only
here is the pic my car is the two door coupe as you can see...you couldnt see inside my car which was great cause of all the audio stuff

Definitely get that 20% all around with 50% windshield. It will make such a difference. Just make sure its black and a nice quality tint. Those mirror tints and color tints make a car look so cheap and toyish..

I was thinking about 20% but then it will be too dark...can you post a pic of your setup to see how it looks

Lou - nice looking car! This is a bit off topic - but what kind of wheels are those (size too...18's?) and what tire set-up, and if you don't mind...about how much $$$. I am looking into a new wheels and tires and I have the same 430 (2000 ???) anyway, they look great and I was just curious.

brand new the wheels are about $1100 each but they're 3 piece forged wheel and fully polished...I love them but I may not be keeping the car too long so stay tuned they might go on the black market at a steal of a price

I thought I had 20% all around and 50% windshield which is what I paid for. Then this Long Island cop pulled me over and put the meter on the windshield and it said 8%. I dont know wtf went on , I think his meter was rigged!

Im sorry but can anybody post a pic of a silver clk with dark *** tints ??? or is that too much to ask
Im going to do it this week so pleas show me whatcha got 20% 35% 50% whatever just want to see what looks the best

Okay Lou here you go...8% all around. It is true black film (so they say). For the most part it appears black but it is slightly off a bit, I think because of the factory blue tint that the CLK already has. If it were limo (5%) tint then I don't think it would be as noticeable.

That's hot. After seeing those pics I'd say definitely go 20%. I went with I think 28% or something like that just because I wanted it to be legal but I really wish I would have gone darker to atleast 20%.
