Resetting The Service Signal on 1999
can anyone tell me how to reset the service signal light on a clk430..1999... i change the oil myself and i still get the SERVICE DUE NOW light which is driving me crazy.... i don't have the manual to read it... so if anyone kind enough can post it i;ll be really gratefull.. thanx

thats easy alls you have to do is turn the car on and then turn the wheel all the way to the left and then all the way to the right and do this several times and shut it off that should work

that's the thing.. i don't have the manual for mi car.. i need someone to post the procedures on how to due it.. also last night i got the bas/esp lights on with the abs.. what u guys think do i gotta change the sensors...and which sensors

That is the probably the parking switch. It's some switch in your car that sends information to your brake lights. I had the same thing happen and I took it to the dealer. It cost about $125 total for the switch and to replace it.

Ok this is the fourth time I've tried sending a reply
1. Turn key steering position 2 (just prior to the spring loaded "start" position)
2. Within 4 seconds press the "O" button twice
3. Within 10 seconds turn key to steering position 0 - off
4. Press and hold "O" button WHILE returning key to position 2 and continue to hold "O" button.
5. After 10 seconds your display should return to normal! (Release button)
