Loose Vacuum Line Causing Rough Idle?
Hey there, this is a wonderful first post to make, but my CLK320 is currently idling rather roughly as well as shaking at low speeds, this has happened once before but I'd rather not run back to the dealership just for them to tighten a hose back up again.
When the car is running there's an audible hissing noise towards the windshield/headlamp washing fluid container and I just wanted to see if someone might be able to walk me through a hopefully easy fix.

Check back in that area, there are hoses that run from the rear of the valve covers to just below the throttle body for PCV functions. They get oil on them and degrade, or just get old and hard and crack, and allow air to leak in after the TB and cause the rough running. Get in there and see where exactly the hissing is coming from, you will find a broken hose most likely. Replace it and see if it gets better.

Mine also has developed quite the hiss around the throttle body. Is yours similar?
