I took off the Kleemann suspension and went back to stock with the HRE wheels. I wanted to show pics of the car and the wheels without the Kleemann suspension.
The car is for sale, the wheels, and the Kleemann suspension. I tried posting on the classified section only to be harrassed by uninterested customers.
If anybody is interested on anything on the car please e-mail me at ultima972@msn.com
Here ya go and by the way the car wasnt cleaned it had rain drops all over but you get the picture

tired and unshaven and still picking up girls....must be the car

Difference between Kleemann drop and stock ride height
now keep in mind that pics with Kleeman drop I took with Pirelli P7000 in 225/40 and 255/35 18" rear
with stock pics I have bigger Dunlop tires with 235/40 and 265/ 35 18"
all of the drops have a #4 spring pad in the front and I think a #3 in rear, which means just by changing spring pad and time of installation you can get another .50 - .75 of an inch.
with Kleeemann springs and dampers

stock springs and shocks

e-mail is sent, unsung the pics on the my second post show the difference between both suspension factory and Kleemann. I have confirmed that Im running a #4 spring pad so simply by switching to a #1 I would be .75 inch lower, which In my opinion is too low. The suspension is engineered for performance without sacrificing comfort which I believe all Mercedes owners are looking for. It feel as comfortable as stock during regular driving but will stiffening up automatically during the twisties and also on the highway traveling at fast speed the car feels so planted instead of floaty numb feeling with stock.Originally posted by unsung

I think this will explain it much better than I can.
KLEEMANN Suspension Systems
The KLEEMANN Speed Sensitive Sport Suspension systems utilize CNC precision wound springs that are shot peened, phosphate treated and powder coated. They are true progressive rate springs, providing a comfortable ride while reducing body roll and lowering the vehicles center of gravity.
Giving the car the ultimate in handling are the very innovative Speed Sensitive dampers, providing performance unlike any other damper can offer!
High pressure nitrogen gas charge and Variable Aperture technology allows the KLEEMANN damper to have a variety of compression and rebound rates. The quicker and farther the damper is compressed, the stiffer it becomes.
The end result is a suspension that performs like no other, giving a comfortable ride on the street, while providing unmatched handling dynamics during spirited drivi

Sorry for being completely clueless, but how much does the Kleeman Suspension go for and how much are you selling it for. I can't make an offer since I don't know the range I should be in.
By the way, great pics again.

Wow. On the BMW forums we are all freaked out by the new designs and are talking about how awesome the new MBs look.Originally posted by lou430

Nice to see that it goes both was I guess.
The M5 is rumored to be out soon. V10 powered. Just an idea, since I think the new 6 series has a pretty good sticker.
PS Get the 6 speed. Manuals are treasured in the BMW world. The SMG is great, lot's of SMG owners seem really happy with it, but the thrill of driving a manual is soon to vanish from earth. Enjoy it while you can. Heavy traffic is the only reason to get the SMG in a coupe car like the 6.
