1999 W208 stalled while driving
Of late my car stalled while driving around 80-90 km/h. Car was OK during initial drive. After a brief stop, drive again and that's when the car stalled after a short drive. Left the car to rest for about 30 mins and car can be driven again but after a few XX km stalled again.
I had changed the followings: sparkplug & coils + MAF, sensors (crankshaft, camshaft, magnetic solenoid), O2 sensor (front ex-manifold), fuel pump, petrol tank level sensor (with Pump) plus cleaning the injector system - but the car still stalled after a short.
Am at a loss here...any help/advise would be appreciated...a mechanic did point out that it could be the gas actuator (there are 2 -one after the air filter unit, the other after the MAF end hose).
Thank you in advance!
It could also be a bad fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure at the rails...fluctuation is usually a bad pump.
Done that including changing with new K40 Overload Voltage Protection Relay unit - -lasted some distance drive and car stalled again. The OVP was hot when the car stalled - probably shutting off the fuel pump gor safety reason - but why - an still trying to figure it out...any help will do please. Thanks!

Need a good scan tool to see what is dropping out and shutting it off. Will star system catch an intermittent problem like this? Maybe a driver circuit for either the ignition or fuel injection in the ecu.

Could it be a wiring problem?
Any help/tip will do.
Thanks a lot!
