Sport Grill
I noticed on the Autoclass site that they were selling a Sport grill With Mercedes Sat in chrome (Star not shown). Does anyone have one with that installed? I know evosport sells the carbon Fiber one that replaces the entire hood with a lighter one CL type look but that requires painting of the hood and labor. Anyone have pics of the difference between the two? Id appreciate any posts. Also i noticed them selling the kits for the phone install or voice recognition for the clk. Does anyone have that? If the kit they sell works it sure as hell is alot cheaper than buying it preinstalled from the factory. Thanks in advance for the reponses.

Out Of Control!!
We carry both grills for the CLK. In fact, we currently have the one you referred to (smaller star) in stock. Send me an email if you're interested in it.
As for the voice recognition system... We can get it, however I do not think installation would be easy. I would have to look into it. Any thoughts guys?

i think the CL type grille looks much nicer but you are right.. there is a lot of work involved in that... if I had a clk..i would go with the schatz grille as well...you can get them on ebay for pretty cheap..

Ijcook, why don't you "black out" the chrome center line (top and bottom of the star), it look alot better. You can buy the chrome "black out" tape at Pep Boy.

not sure how the blacked out grille with just the star left in chrome will look on a silver car but it does look pretty sweet on a black on... here's a picture of it on a C

I don't think mbnz has any auctions on ebay... if you are looking for the grille, just do a search for it on ebay. i know there are a few for the C. All i search for is W203 and it comes up with the auctions for the car....
if you don't find any for the CLK, you might drop a line to those sellers selling the C class grille and ask them if they have the CLK grille for sale?
