CLK W208 Treadwear Tire Life

I am a new pre-owned owner of a CLK 320 and I just put 19s on my car with Yokohama AVS. I just wanna get an idea of how long my set of tires will last. 8,000 miles? 12,000 miles?

Please post your mileage experiences and the brand of tire since most of you have had your cars for some time now and I am just a newbie. Any info would be highly appreciated.

Used to be a CLK430

Out of 19"s you should expect somewhere near 8K-10K depending on how aggressively you drive.

I went 20K with my OEM Michelin Pilots. I expect 10-12K from my current AVS ES100s.

Great tire for dry conditions and not the best tire for wet conditions. In terms of thread wear....approximately 15500 and that's because I had negative camber. Just picked up some Toyo's....too soon to comment.

I just changed mine to the KUMHO Ecsta ASX , so far I like them , I have only put 300 miles so far, but they look good, ride good,make less noise than my bridgestones , tread wear rating 420, nice part, set of 4 from discount tire less than 535.00, 245/40r on the back and 225/45r front

i had AVS sports on mine, they lasted about 10k miles. I have Dunlop 9000sp's on, and they need to be replaced pretty soon after 12k miles. i dont think there are any tires out there in 19" that have good threadwear. Im proly gona go with Nittos next
