I did it. CLK430 on it's way!
Just bought this beaut. She's on her way from Cali and will be here in a week! I can't wait!

Wow, thanks for the kind comments guys! I actually did buy it from a guy in San Jose, but his name wasn't Dave. I paid $25K with 50,000 miles with all the mods. Best of all, he's my buddy from college, so I know that the car was taken car for fanatically.
Man, I can't wait!! The autotransport said about 5 more days...
And thanks for the compliments on the rims....

Lol, yeah, I know!
Yeah, I'm just south of Chicago in Bloomington. I'm up in Chicago quite a bit....dang girlfriend lives up there! The miles will be racking up on the Benz...

Bloomington isn't just south, that's a haul. Either way if you are able to find a good shop around let me know. I need to find someone other than the dealer to do my brakes and suspension along with a few other things.

Well, looky what finally came yesterday morning..

Oh I disagree.. I mean.. it already has the painted lens covers.. about the only other mod I'd consider would be a chrome tailpipe.
It'd go nicely with the rims and chrome window trim and set off against the black paint. Leave everything else as is. There's a line between classy mods and overdoing it, in my book. The idea (IMO) should be to accentuate the natural lines and look of the car, not to overpower them with add-ons.
