CLK 430 Bremus/Bramus??

I was downtown Cleveland two weekends ago at some of the bars, and parked next to this jaw-dropping Mercedes CLK430. I had to do a walkaround, as it looked just amazing. To me, it looked like an AMG + some. It had a badge on the back right of the trunk that said BREMUS or BRAMUS, I don't remember which (it was a bar night, what can I say).

Does anyone know what this is? Is there anywhere I can get more info on them? I just thought it was very sleek looking, and would like to know what kind of package it is. Is it some kind of private shop (like Lingenfelter or Mallett for the Corvette)?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

600RR

Yeah, I have a Yoshimura exhaust on it, which sounds EXCELLENT. I also have frame sliders, flush mounts up front, short stalks in the rear, and the undertail is all cleaned up (no more stock plastic). The bike is amazing. I bought it in March, after I sold my '01 CBR F4i, and there is a world if difference. The F4i definitely had the comfort advantage, but the 600RR is a GREAT bike. So nimble, and quick to respond.

BRABUS is what I was looking for. I thought it looked great, and I have also never seen one of them before. What are the thoughts around them? Pretty rare? Are they similar to Lingenfelter with Corvette? One thing I noticed on their site was just to get cams and have them installed, it was like $3K! ANd just for 20 hp. That is crazy! Is the whole aftermarket upgrade path for MBZ similar?

Oh yeah, it has a Vortex rear sprocket too. Here are some pics of the bike if you are interested:

Talking clk430

The Benz you saw was mine in cleveland!!!! I am new to the forum and just got my 2002 clk430 not long ago. I have a koni-h&r suspension, and brabus type 6 style wheels. I have also added a custom clarion sirius radio, with a orion 1200 watt 10 in a competition box, and custom candy apple metallic paint on the calipers, with silver amg logos. Thanks for the complements on the new ride and I am excited about joining the forum.

I will post new pics soon

thanks,

mcironi

I would definitely like to see some pictures. If it was yours, I parked right next to you in that lot off of West 6th. It was a Friday night.

What part of Akron are you from? I am up in Macedonia, which isn't too far from you. I might have to drive on down to check your ride out, and maybe you can take me for a spin!

springs

I didnt cut the springs, I have sport koni adjustables with H&R springs. I have the koni's stiffened all the way if that makes a difference in ride height.

Thanks,
