My car is reporting 100 miles till my SERVICE A. Would it be wise to call up the dealership in advance and schedule an appointment for service since I know it'll reach that 100 miles very soon? Or does the dealership need verification from the car stating that it is time for service?
Also, what type of work gets done? I havent had any problems with my CLK so far. Would they inspect my alignment since I changed my wheels to larger AMG monoblocks?
Thanks for the info

Yes call up the dealer as soon as you can and make an appointment, don't wait until you pass those 100 miles. The dealer won't need verification. I can't list all the things that the dealer does for the A service, but they do do the usual, lube, oil change, oil filter change, and they check things like brake pads, but im not sure if they check alignment.

You should definitely make an appointment right away. I made one here at the local dealer last friday, and the earliest time available is in mid-December!!!

I had over 1500 miles and my dealer did the service now! They said better than bringing the car back again.

If you experience uneven tirewear or have vibrations, you are entitled to the free adjustment.
If you installed larger wheels, lowered the car... then obviously there is a problem with free adjustments...you are on your own.
