Great Site, I am new here greetings
I just came across this site, as a European MB owner, I'm looking forward to comparing notes. No V8 for me unfortunately.
I have had the CLK for nearly 3 years and just picked up a new E Break for the family wagon.
Incidentally, Ahmed, I lived in Riffa for 5 years

Welcome and congrats on the "Daddy" of all station wagons!!!! Ooohhh- just mad me think- E55 wagon??? The fastets grocery getter on wheels. 0-60 in 6 seconds with a family of 8. Sorry or the tangent, welcome!

2001 CLK 320

Welcome, and a question. In Europe, CLK's are available with both an Elegance and Avant Garde package. Are they available without either? In the U.S., the W208's came through with the Elegance package for 320's and the Avant Garde for 430's and 55's. Just wondering what they might look like without these respective packages.

The 5 years I spent in Bahrain were superb, I left there in October 98, I would like to go back and revisit the country, seeing how it has changed. The people are so wonderfully friendly. I was a Misubishi Pajero man in those days LOL I still have many friends there and one day I'll be back.
Hi CLK320, I am not very familiar to the vehicle options in Europe, however I have the CLK230kompressor Sport version, there were Elegance and Avantgarde as well to choose, now they are the only two available in any model 200 and 230 kompressor versions, 320, 430 and 55. I personally didn't like the plastic looking wood so chose the carbon fibre look of the dash etc... I'll be keeping my car for ever, I have no plan to sell it, ever.
I have a Mr Sensible car too, the E Break (wagon) in a 220 CDI version, 2002 model, it's probably the worlds most sensible vehicle for families ! CLicKEr

oh and by the way.... the SPORT version lasted till 99 production and was replaced with Avantgarde in 2000. I personally loved the carbon fibre on the sport. But guess what, its back on the avantgarde now and it looks awsum!!!
