YUP! KMAC front Camber KIT Installed!!!!
Okay, so I was tired of going through tires every 5-8K. So I plopped down some major cash and ordered the KMAC front camber kit. I took it to the only place I trust in the Bay Area and this was thier first time on this part.
All the mechanics came out to look into the box. They were all oooing and ahhhing. Then came the drum roll. "We dont know how much time this will take to install".
After two full days of wrenching away (because they were training using my car), the kit was installed.
The goodnews is that I got a great deal because they used my car to train the other mechanics.
The kit by KMAC is solid and my front end is now back to OEM spec with a little camber offset for aggressive street driving. They actually ask you that and ask how much you weight (this is how technical they are). Cheapest in town no, but best bang for your buck with no headaches...you bet.
4 wheel alignment and all is good. The car drives like a dream again and I have a complete custom drop with performance characteristics.
Just thought I would share.

Nice! I just had mine installed. Took them 1.5 weeks becasue the dealer didn't know what the hell they were doing, but they through in a car wash and free alignment since I waited so long.
Care to update us? Any unven wear? Did the camber kit hold up as expected?

The fronts are estimated at 1.5 hours each wheel. If they are competent, they can complete it in that time. The dealer I go to is NOT, especially their alignment guy. But I had no choice. It's simply removing the control arms and sliding in the new pieces.
The rear was even easier...about 3 hours labor and they didn't use all the components.
I would take your car to a good alignment/race shop where they are used to installing plates/kits on lowered cars.

Okay, sorry for the long delay in posts, but I do have an update, almost 9K miles later, my front tires are wearing perfectly. No issues, although I will need another alignment soon do to hitting major pot holes on the highway. For those of you who live in the San Francisco - San Jose bay, go to Custom Alignment in Moutainview, they rock and thanks to me, they have the install down perfectly. Just to give you a hint of thier alignment service, these are a few of the questions they ask you..
1. How do you drive, normal, street, street agressive.
2. What is your weight
etc...these guys dialed my ride in sweet. They even weighed out my wheel bolts to make sure they were properly staggered to make the wheel balance closer to perfect.
My front camber is now dialed into factory settings, i was almost 2.0 now I am round 1.2 and 1.1.
I am also using the AXIS MOD seven wheels with the offset lip to give it the agreesive 3" rear lip and 2" front lip but all wheels are 8.5 x 19 so I can rotate my tires...
IMO, the best way to go for maintaining reasons and cost.....
Now I have to deal with my girl who curbed all but one of my rims...damn her..good thing she wants to buy me a new set.
I will post pics soon...

k-mac bushings
For those of you who have the k-mac kit installed, have you noticed any creaking noise type when ever you go over speed bumps. I hear a creaking noise, when ever I go over speed bumps, from what I believe is the k-mac bushings. Any feedback regarding my issue?? By the way, it only took the guys that installed my kit 4.5 hours.

Kmac!
Where could I purchase this kit (KMAC rear camber arms)?
website or anything of the sort?
From what I learned in past threads... SpeedyBenz makes camber arms for the front and Kmac for the rears...

Yup...that's right. I am still riding with KMAC front and speedybenz rear arms. I am on mile 16,561 on my set of tires with rotations happening every 2mos. Tires wearing prefectly.

what are the benefits of installing a camber kit? my car is dropped all the way with eibach springs and bilstein shocks. it is supposed to reduce/eliminate uneven tyre wear? and other benefits?

Read the forums you will find out!! Especially when you go through tires every 3 months! And the worst part is that the rest of the tire has good thread. Depending on how bad your drop causes issues, you will most likely eat the inside of your tires like I did until the camber kits put it back to stock settings at a lower stance!!!
