Where to buy spring pads?

I would like to swithc my spring pads from #4 to #1. Where can I buy a #1 pad? Are they OEM? The car came with H&R springs.

You can buy spring pads from the dealer. They cost @ $10-15 dollars. MB did not make # 1 pads for the CLK front. You have to ask for # 1 pads for E class (w210). They did make # 1 pads for the CLK rear.

what happens when you have a stock suspension and wheels and change the pads? Is this not recommended?

Ahhh, cool. So, I assume the #1 pads for the E class will fit just fine. Thanks smalldog.

yes, they will fit just fine... i have it on my CLK and no problems... I might be wanting to sell mine and go with bigger pads...

The overall effect made my car a little lower than i wanted.

Interesting. Is the pic on your for sale post with the pads? Are you #1 all around? I think it looks good!

Alright, I just called the dealer and I mentioned #1 pads for the W210 E class and they had 20 different options. What specific model or year E class should I ask for? Also, he said that they are 5 milimeter. IS that a #1?

Man, this is a pain in the butt!

Yes 5mm or dot 1 is the # 1 pad. As far as model year I was told to ask for the same year clk.

Thanks for the comp... yes, thats with #1 pads all around and i do agree it looks good

however, my camber is all outta whack cause of the drop, and I don't have a camber kit yet, so I was thinking to raise it a little... I can't handle buying new tires every couple thousand miles
