Which CLK to get?
bwm 330 ci has more hp i think it has about 15 more hp
however, u can beat the car man with ease
just make sure u use ur tiptronic option
330ci has 225 hp and the CLK320 has 215 hp.
CLK320 is a 7.0 sec car. a manual 330CI can run 6.4 sec and the steptronic 330Ci can run 7.0 second flat stock.
so who should beat who with ease?

And I would say that 48k is a fair price.
For comparison, I paid $43,000 for my stock 2000 CLK 430. Fully loaded with all options...except command. It had less than 8000 miles on it when I purchased it 3 months ago.
Where were you when I was in the market for a new CLK?
:o)
quaz
i though you were talking about when you bought your car brand new in 2000 it cost 43.
my sister's 2000 CLK320 was 52k out of door. brand new back in 2000. with every options except the xenon headlight.

i live 3000 miles away, here our specs are EU specs and trust me when i say, FORGET WHAT YOU READ IN CATALOGUES AND MAGS!!!
My 320 does 0 to 100kmh in 6.5 sec. I have 230 hp under my hood baby! And not fogetting, 98 octane fuels we use here help too!!!
i dont recall seeing manual shift 330's here, they're not common. People rather go for sequentials. EXCEPT FOR THE M3 obviously, cause the manual shift on that is awsum. The SMG system isnt bad either.

no matter what car you decide to buy, you'll always want it to be alittle faster. I have a 2000 430, and I wish I bought a 55. I would recommend getting the 430 over the 320, not only for the v8 and hp, but the AMG bodykit on the 430 makes it look 1000 times better then a 320 IMO. 2000 430 would be your best bet, but if not get the 99 430.

I saw a 2000 CLK 430 for $41,000 with 25,000 miles it's still under warranty.
Good Luck

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

my brother has just placed order for C32 AMG and the thing is that he was told to pick which options he wanted. I thought the car came fully loaded and YOU decide what to take off.
Anyways, he was also told that the AMG interior was an option and had to pay addiotnal 4500 dollars for... is that right?
i personally think the C32 is the best everyday car to have. Its value for money, amazing performance and very good looking. Not forgetting the luxury and comfort it comes with!
hey frank.... you got a C32? If so then i have a few questions!

although it is quite loaded with standard equipment we (the U.S. market) still have some options.
1. Xenon (must be ordered with headlamp washer)
2. Headlamp Washer (which must be ordered with Xenon)
3. rear sunshade
4. Navigation Command system
5. Parktronic (starting 2003)
6. Ski sack
7. metallic paint
8. CD changer (dealer install)
by the AMG interior do you mean the blue or merlot red seating area?
the color of the interior has no charge. only the metallic paint and the special order paint (i.e. orion blue, tecite gray. etc)
the choice of the interior is different depends on the metallic paint.
the 4500 dollars is that in U.S. dollar?
i think that is just BS made by the dealer to get more money out of your pocket.
where are you located?
