Going in for my A Service
According to my display....my Service A should occur in about 14 days. So, I'll be taking my CLK in for the once over next week.
I haven't ran into many of the problems that other owners have had....really what irks me the most is the noise that comes from the rear at heavy accellaration...I think it's the back seat.
Other than that...the radio definately "phases". I'm thinking of having them replace it....but I've heard people who have even WORSE luck after it's been replaced.
Is there anything else that you guys would recommend that I consider replacing at the A Service?

It sounds like a "thump". (difficult to describe any other way)
Almost like what you'd expect to hear of there was something heavy in the trunk ....and when you accellarate it slides toward the back of the car.
(I guess technically it would be more correct to say such an object resists the forward movement of the car and the rear of the car "catches up" to it).....

Noise
From experience, I can tell you that noises are one pain in the neck to locate. However, in the back of a CLK I would consider the above mentioned seat catches, and the first aid kit.
